A new drink

Well it was Thursday last night and a small tipple was in order. I was outvoted 3-1 on the starting venue for the evening. Apparently advocating my throne to a new pretender for the King of the Thursday night crown.

Time was ticking and a black buca was in order, or so I thought. But this being an expensive pub I was persuaded to have a cheaper(and more lethal cocktail). 5 for £10. There were 4 of us so that worked out well for the bar woman!

Ingrediants - Half measure Black Sambuca. Quarter measure Absinthe. Quarter measure Red aftershock.

Now buca on its own its agreeable. Absinthe on its own is not, and nearly killed me once. And as for Red Aftershock, well I would rather bit on Foxy's round ass. However being slightly tipsy I thought it would be a good idea to have them. Knowing Foxy tho we told him it was just buca otherwise he wouldn't have drunk it!

So how did it taste - Not as lethal as I thought!! Went down fairly smoothly with the red aftershock providing a kick and aftertase at the end.

Capacity to make you drunk - very very high!

The Will Ball Sagas part 5

Well just over 1 week and a half ago, Glen from Nintendo called. He was the magician who could rectify the lack of Wii points on my Wii. And he did have the touch. After providing the serial of my Wii he magically sent 3000 points my way. Sadly he didn't have the authority to transfer the 2nd 3000 points for some reason but promised to call the next day with a resolution.

Well the week passed and no phone call. To be honest I had given up waiting and had enough of the Wii Ball Sagas. I had a working Wii and that was enough.

But, today I received a call. It was the lone gunman of Nintendo with the news that he would be sending me a Wii points card for 4000 points in the post! Bonus, considering the Wii that they put the other 3000 points on was no longer mine!

So I think its time to conclude the Wii Ball Sagas. Escalation is the key if you have a problem thats not resolved. Emailing the top man in the UK worked for me. It might work for you too....

But, unless Nintendo decide to add network play to their VC downloads I think I will be purchasing a new Wii SD Media Loader and playing all my snes roms off an SD card. Nice work.
