The Wii Ball Sagas Part 3
So I got the Wii back without reply from Shitendo.
'Dear Infamous server center.
You might recall that I returned my Wii to you on the 19th Jan. I received it on the 15th Feb, just over the 3week lead time quoted, once again sent via parcelforce and left on my doorstep to suffer the bitter wind and rain. But like the trooper that it is, the console survived these vicious elements that it was subjected to. Sadly though, I think the VC games that I downloaded AND THAT YOU PROMISED to transfer when I called you didn't. The elements must have taken their toll and destroyed the data.... Because you surely did transfer the info didn't you. There is no way on earth that you could have forgotten AGAIN? Is there?
Well maybe there is, as I do not have any VC games or remaining points on the console that you returned to me. No account info and no Miis. So I assume its a new console, which is great but at the cost of my VC games. I know you have the capability to transfer VC games. Or that's at least what your customer service advisers tell me. The evidence presented in front of me tells otherwise.
It seems I was correct in the figures listed in the below mail, as I am indeed £21 down AGAIN as you didn't transfer my VC games/points. Maybe I should just be grateful that I have a Wii? And should just forget the actual amount it has cost me. In case you had forgotten let me remind you:
'Quote from below mail:
Costs - £21 * 2 for Wii points - £42. Postage - £18.50 + £7.40 - £25.90 - To return a faulty item to youTotal money now lost (assuming you forget to transfer the account info to my next wii - WHICH YOU DID) - £67.90£67.90!!!!!!!
Unquote'
Maybe you should take a leaf out of your American Division who provide Postage Paid labels in case you need to return an item to them. In fact one person even managed to attend the Service center in person and wait for his Wii to be repaired.
Why is it in the UK customer service is so atrocious. I have had a faulty Wii since release day and have had to pay to have it replaced. That is a cost that I SHOULD NOT have had to incur.
When I get home from work today, it won't be a nice game of bowling or tennis that I will play.
I am going to shoot people on my XBOX 360, and relieve some of the frustrations that I am suffering due to being a loyal customer of Nintendo.....
Yes you created a marvellous new controller that works great, but no you do not have ANY idea on how to look after your customers.
I will shed a tear for your loss tonight.
Ben Flynn'
